Together

When I'm with you, and we're together,
things always seem to get better.
It all begins with a simple talk,
then side-by-side we begin to walk.
The sun begins to set as the end comes to the day.
You take my hand and my world, like my breath, is swept away.
All pain and the noise is gone it would seem,
for as we walk hand-in-hand, I'm living a dream.
A wonderful dream where we're no longer walking, but dancing...
All night I dance with you.
Twirling in the moonlight, making each movement new.
We get tired and go to rest.
The nights getting later, but it's for the best.
Cause I've got my arm around you, and your heads and my shoulder.
And we lie there chatting as the night grows older.
I'm forced to leave you and I'm filled with sorrow,
but i know there will always be tomorrow.
The sky is dark, yet the moon is bright,
as we stand outside to say goodnight.
I look into your eyes and you kiss my lips,
and suddenly it becomes a night I will never forget.
I'll never lose that night, I'll remember it forever,
